Pictured is a current aerial view of the motel looking northwest toward the Glass Mountains.
The property is roughly square in shape.
The courtyard is located on the south and center, surrounded by the office and rooms, the residence to the east, RV park to the west, The Patio north of the residence, the apartment with two smaller rooms northwest of the patio and the “north” RV park north of the two story.
The residence set back to the north is on the adjoining property.
There are currently no improvements in the northwest section of the property and is available for development.

Restaurant:
Much thought has been given toward the future improvements of the motel with consideration to our visitor’s needs and comfort. With limited dining options in Marathon, combined with the increasing interests in functions hosted at the motel, a combination Restaurant/Pavilion was conceived. Located on the west side of the property with close and easy accessibility to the courtyard, it would serve as indoor facilities for a variety of functions with the restaurant providing catering services. The restaurant/bar with it’s north and west facing views of the Glass and Del Norte Mountains would be the premier dining establishment in West Texas, while serving to further promote the motel and its functions.

Room addition
The property consists of almost ten acres with the current improvements occupying the south and east section of the property. The vision for the additional rooms would be a north and west facing two story, hacienda style building with covered parking, enclosed hallways, with rooms boasting unobstructed views of the Glass and Del Norte Mountains as well as an adobe walled pool/courtyard area. Note of interest, the Glass Mountains are an uplifted ancient coral reef, one of few that can be seen from the road or other view point.

Pictured are the conceptual additions, integrated with the current structures. Any changes could be made to enlarge the room addition, or restaurant, the goal is to demonstrate how these additions can be incorporated into the existing layout on the property.
